The Alderney Wildlife Trust (AWT) has a number of volunteer and educational post-graduate placements available each year providing unique experiences in the world of wildlife conservation. The placements generally last 6-12 months.

Placements can range through ecology, conservation and reserve management to education, outreach and communications. Many of our past placements now have successful careers as ecologists, reserve managers, environmental consultants and community officers. Some have moved on with their education and we are pleased to say several have now gained their PhDs.

Our day-to-day activities are never the same, and if you enjoy working in a small team with a variety of interesting challenges then check out our available positions below.

If you would like to see what some of the 50+ individuals who have undertaken placements with the Trust are now up to watch this short video or read some of the testimonials from previous staff members.

The AWT may also consider volunteer placement applications even if there are no positions currently advertised. Please feel free to make an enquiry including your CV and covering letter.

All applicants should be prepared to have their initial interview via Skype.
