Conservation Volunteers every Wednesday and Saturday afternoon

We help care for Alderney’s much-loved sites and nature reserves including Alderney Community Woodland, Bonne Terre, Vau du Saou and Longis Nature Reserve. Activities vary throughout the year and may include clearing footpaths, controlling invasive species, maintaining bird hides, painting benches, building bridges, moving cows and doing beach cleans.

About the event

We run regular Conservation Volunteers session on Wednesdays and Saturdays, from 2 pm - 4 pm. 

Meeting at 1:45 pm at the AWT office.

The key activities per session vary. Please contact admin@alderneywildlife.org or visit the Wildlife Information Centre for a quick chat.

We have a WhatsApp group and a mailing list for Conservation Volunteers for those who are keen to become regular volunteers.
