Community woodland (Former Green woodworking area)_Thanh Doan
Forest School for children aged 5-8 on Mondays and Fridays (10th, 14th, 17th, 21st, 24th, 28th August)
About the event
The AWT will be running Forest School sessions for children aged 5–8 this summer. We aim to connect children with the Alderney's nature and support their holistic development. The sessions focus on free play, with a wide range of activities available for children to try at their own pace and according to their own interests. Example activities include tool use and simple toy making, crafts, bug hunts, scavenger hunts, hammocks and tarps, and much more.
Following the States of Alderney's notice about the increased fire risk, and considering how dry everything is at the moment, we'll hold off on fire-lighting and fire-extinguishing activities this time.
Here are the dates that we will run the sessions.
