About the event

The AWT will be running Forest School sessions for children aged 5–7 during this upcoming school holiday. We aim to connect Alderney’s children with the island’s nature and support their holistic development. 

The sessions focus on free play, with a wide range of activities available for children to try at their own pace and according to their own interests. Example activities include tool use and simple toy making, crafts, bug hunts, scavenger hunts, fire lighting and fire safety (weather permitting), hammocks and tarps, and much more.

Location: Alderney Community Woodland (old green woodworking area and children’s area).
Meeting point: The coniferous area opposite Blanchards.

Cost: £20 per child per session.
