About the event

Making the most of the low tide and (hopefully good weather) in April, we’ll walk out towards the eelgrass bed in Longis to discover this species and the marine creatures that rely on it as a nursery, feeding ground, and shelter. Mel, AWT Living Seas Coordinator will provide you with background information of eelgrass before we head out.

Following the eelgrass walkover, there will be a brief ormer survey. Check the rocks and see how many green ormers we can record. You can even try measuring them!
