Alongside our Puffin Cams the AWT have made various online teaching resources available for primary students and teachers.
These resources use Alderney and its wildlife, especially, seabirds to cover parts of the curriculum, including life cycles, adaptations, food chains and habitats. All are free to use and work well alongside the Puffin Cams, watching the puffins go through their life cycle and breeding season from April to July on Burhou.
You can also follow our regular blogs on the LIVE: teaching through nature website, detailing the puffin behaviours you might spot on the cameras each month. You'll learn about how the AWT monitors and conserves these seabirds every season too.
