About the event

For World Wetlands Day we will be cleaning up the beaches in our Ramsar site to minimise the amount of waste that makes it back into the sea. We will also be recording what we find to collect valuable data on what makes up the litter that washes up on our beaches.

Meeting point: Platte Saline carpark (we can meet and then split into two teams) (w3w: ///rakes.manageable.differences)

No need to register, just turn up. We will prepare gloves, litter pickers and litter bags.

Note: Please wear suitable footwear and dress appropriately for the weather.
