Alderney Biodiversity Centre

The Alderney Biodiversity Centre (ABC) is one of the UK’s network of Local Environment Records Centres (LERCs) and is funded, staffed and managed by the Alderney Wildlife Trust.

The ABC aims to collate, collect and responsibly manage biological, ecological, and environmental data, material, and information from Alderney and its territorial waters, making this content available in a form that is useful and accessible to residents, land managers, policy makers, researchers, commercial users, and other interested parties.

Data hosted on the ABC comes from both amateur and professional individuals and organisations, including the AWT.  This includes everything from casual recording to long-term monitoring programme data.

You can submit data or explore data already submitted by visiting the Alderney Biodiversity Centre website. If you're out and about, the iRecord app is a great way to submit sightings of wildlife.

Please note that the Alderney Biodiversity Centre website is currently in the process of being updated and is currently offline. We hope that this disruption will be temporary while we work to bring more features to our website. In the meantime, please email manager(at)alderneybiodiveritycentre.org with any data requests.
