Quiet and often hardly seen, the Office Volunteers often takes their volunteering home with them, but without their support everything from planning application reviews to fundraising, just would not happen. In 2012 the Directors Conference of The Wildlife Trusts was organised and held in Alderney, thanks largely to the work of these dedicated volunteers

Office Volunteers help in a number of crucial ways, often bringing their own skills to the work of the Alderney Wildlife Trust (AWT) and setting the agenda and direction of our office environment. Roles include:

  • Office management
  • Fundraising and donor support
  • Membership support
  • Fundraising shop assistance
  • 'Sponsor an Alderney Animal' support

But anyone is welcome and if you're willing to lend a hand, be it dealing with information requests, writing letters and/or entering records, the AWT welcomes all with open arms.

How can I get involved?

Getting involved is simple! You can contact us directly by calling the office on +44(0)1481 822935 or drop in and have a chat.  Alternatively you can fill in the volunteering webform and we'll be in touch.
