Latin name: Tuberaria guttata

The Spotted Rock-rose is one of Alderney’s special cliff-top plants.  It flowers from May to July, with beautiful pale yellow petals with a dark crimson spot at the base.  It produces a fresh bloom every day and usually drops its petals by early to mid-afternoon. Go early in the day if you wish to see it in full bloom. On Alderney it only grows in two patches along the millennium path on the south coast.
